What is UI design
UI translates as User Interface. It is responsible for the appearance and design of the interface.

Tasks of a UI designer:

— Determine the color scheme, fonts, and size of elements.

— Prepare animation and static elements — images, tables, buttons, sliders, forms.

— Develop a brand identity,  UI kit , and  design system .

— Adapt all interface elements to different devices.

What is the difference
In interface design, UX design is responsible for the logic of the interface, and UI is responsible for the appearance.

When developing an interface, these two concepts cannot be imagined without each other. In companies that divide functions into two different specialists, the UX designer first does analytics and research, creates a prototype and tests it. After that, the UI designer brings the idea to life with the help of visual design.
