There's a lot of controversy over things like guest posting,, and blogging has been judged toxic, but the fact remains that if you approach blog outreach the right way, you can get tremendous value out of it. blog. Target audience, managed by passionate and receptive bloggers; these types of opportunities should not be underestimated. If you take a step back from your link profile, it's likely to be heavily biased in favor of the blog, whether due to guest posts, editorial mentions, contests, or any other reason. However, while all of the above add value (broadly speaking), they point to link profiles that only appear to be biased towards one type of website.
Links from blogs can be overkill, and the reality is that it’s always wise to diversify the ways you get links, no matter what color hat you think you’re wearing. You need to proactively understand moible number data what your link profile looks like. We've probably all seen recent examples of overly harsh penalties, it seems. Sites that are whiter than white (especially relative to their competitors) get spanked. I've seen examples of sites being hacked that didn't even seem to care much about SEO, but someone at Google arbitrarily decided they were violating the guidelines.
Do I think Google is crazy? Sometimes it is. But I'm not here to complain, because frankly, it's their playground, so I guess we all need to learn to live in it and identify ways to make the most of it, or face the consequences. My point is that we all have to think carefully about the things we do (even if they don't seem to impact SEO at first) and the knock-on effects that may have. This applies especially to content generation and link building. It's easier for people to get caught up in the day-to-day and think that you're diversifying your link profile because you have a variety of blogs, or because you're using different ways to contact bloggers, but from a bot's perspective, those links may look Very similar. |
